This is my first blog post!

Not a lot to say to be fair i was finishing my tile system so i decided to make this page to talk about those things in a longer format and have somewhere to have something to show to other people. For this first post lets just talk about this website. I made it using zola as a recomendation from a friend. I was planning to use plain html and css but i did not like that for things to work how i wanted i needed to use either lots of copypasting or iframes(which complicated things a lot) so I decided to ask a friend and found zola, just what i needed:

• Single executable
• no extra dependencies
• static webpage
• no JS

Some people may be wondering why no JS? "Its super easy and you have tons of packages through node!" Just the thing i wanted to avoid dependencies. I like the simplicity of as little dependencies as I can. JS is also a language i dislike, if it was for my all languages should be staticaly typed, it solves a lot of headaches. I also know about webassembly but setting it up is a pain and you still need JS to load it up. In shourt, until the web supports a staticaly typed language on the web i will stay away from it. I will for the time beeing stick to Zig and C#. Thanks for reading!
